Whenever I think about autumn all I have in mind are these gorgeous colorful leaves,
a cozy blanket, fireplace, candles, and a jumper dress.
In my opinion, it is the most versatile piece in my wardrobe both in the autumn and winter season.
A Jumper dress can be worn with ankle boots and tights, bare legs with over knee boots, or with jeans just simple tucked in...
This dress doesn't have to be fitted, it can be plain or knitted if you like. There is a huge choice from both more streetwear brands or more high-end and premium too.
I would advise you to look for a color that suits your hair and complexion not necessarily black. We rich out for black clothes more often throughout the colder months but maybe consider navy instead as it's more flattering in many cases. Blues, pinks, ecru will look great on blondes with blue and green eyes, while reds, emerald green, purple on brunettes and ginger hair ladies.
Must the jumper dress be short? Of course not, nowadays we have all lengths available including midi and maxi. They can be sleeveless with a cardigan as a set or with a long sleeve just pick whatever suits you better.
When it comes to fit -depends on what you are looking for. If you want to create a more casual outfit then go for a more loose shape and by adding a belt you can always give it more structure. If you would like to add some volume to your hips then just picked more A-line shape, if on the other hand, you would like to focus on your arms then all types of frills will be great and if you want to show your beautiful figure just wear a fitted dress.
Options are endless, just remember if you buy a good quality fabric it will last you longer, it's more budget and environmental friendly. There is an option for everyone and pick whatever suits you because at the end of the day you must like it!
